Hello everyone! We've just released a new update focused on performance and modern stability. We have completely rewritten our internal networking system, leaving ProtocolLib behind to adopt PacketEvents v2.

This allows us to offer better cross-version compatibility, much more robust support for HEX/MiniMessage colors, and superior performance when sending the MOTD and calculating fake players.

⚠️ REQUIRED CHANGES TO UPDATE:

1. New Dependency: It is now MANDATORY to have PacketEvents installed on your server for the plugin to work. 👉 Download PacketEvents here

   
   

2. ProtocolLib: We no longer require ProtocolLib. If you don't have any other plugins that use it, you can safely remove it from your plugins folder.

   
   

Update now and enjoy a much faster and smoother MOTD!

• Automatic Updates: The plugin now detects changes and updates files dynamically.
• No More Manual Deletes: You no longer need to manually delete old files or folders for the plugin to refresh.
• Zero Restarts: Apply your changes in real-time without having to restart your server.

• Freeze Fix: Resolved the issue where the MOTD and the entire server would hang when retrieving statistics from the placeholder:

• Optimized Fetching: Data fetching is now handled efficiently to ensure your server stays fluid and responsive.

  - Default server icon is always shown if a custom icon is missing or invalid.

  - Fixed issues with wrong icon sizes — all icons now correctly display at 64x64 pixels.

  ⚠️ Key Changes:
  - The plugin now requires Java 17 or higher** to function properly. Please ensure your environment is updated if you are using an older version.
  - The `kyori.adventure` dependencies have been relocated internally, except for Velocity, where they remain unchanged.

  
  

  🗑️ Required Actions After Updating:
  - For Velocity: Delete the folder plugins/DeluxeMOTD/libs.
  - For Spigot and BungeeCord: Delete the folder plugins/STN Studios.
